Booking & policies, in plain English.
Short version: a 20% advance holds your boat, refunds are tiered by notice, and weather never strands you. The whole of it is below.
Booking & confirmation.
- Dates are held against a 20% advance; the balance is due before boarding.
- A booking exists once we confirm it in writing — no confirmation, no booking.
- The lead guest must be 18 or over and carry valid photo ID at check-in. International guests: we file the C-Form for you; carry your passport.
Cancellation & refunds.
- 30 days or more before boarding — the advance is refunded in full.
- 15–29 days — 75% of the advance refunded.
- 7–14 days — 50% of the advance refunded.
- Under 7 days, or a no-show — the advance is retained.
- Festive window (20 December – 10 January) — non-refundable once confirmed.
- Refunds return the way they came, within 14 days.
Weather & the water.
- If the authorities pause cruising for weather, we move your dates or refund the advance — your choice.
- Routes are the captain's call: light, traffic and season bend every line. Anchorage by ~17:30 is backwater regulation, and every boat follows it.
Aboard.
- Smoking is not permitted inside any vessel; the open decks are yours.
- Bring your own alcohol if you like — the crew will serve it. No corkage.
- Swimming from the boat is at the crew's discretion and only where the water runs clean and still.
- Rates are per boat per night, before 5% GST. Peak (Oct–Mar) and festival dates are quoted on request.
