KING-BEDDED · A/C · WATER AT THE WINDOW
The staterooms.
Air-conditioned, king-bedded, dressed in cotton and teak. Every stateroom opens to the water, and the big boats sleep thirty-two without anyone sharing a wall.
Hand-crafted kettuvallams gliding through Kerala’s Vembanad backwaters — a personal chef, a private sundeck, and nothing on the itinerary but the water. Premium, Luxury & Ultra Luxury cruises for one to sixteen guests.
Plan your cruiseOVERVIEW
Kerala’s backwaters are a nine-hundred-kilometre maze of lakes, canals and rice paddies that sit below sea level. People have lived on this water for centuries — our kettuvallams let you join them for a night without giving up a single comfort. This is the trip that stays with you.

It started as one boat. It became a fleet of twelve — built, crewed and cooked for by people born on these waters.

The staterooms
01 — 04

KING-BEDDED · A/C · WATER AT THE WINDOW
Air-conditioned, king-bedded, dressed in cotton and teak. Every stateroom opens to the water, and the big boats sleep thirty-two without anyone sharing a wall.

FIVE MEALS A DAY · EVERY MENU YOURS
Your chef shops the village market at dawn and cooks to order on board — karimeen from the morning catch, toddy-shop curries, or exactly what your grandmother likes. All meals are included, always.

THE UPPER DECK · JACUZZI FROM LUXURY UP
The upper deck is the boat's living room — daybeds, a dining pavilion, and a private jacuzzi from the small Luxury boats upwards. Sunset happens at anchor, by regulation. It's the best hour of the day.

CAPTAIN · CHEF · STEWARD
Captain, chef and steward — born on these waters, discreet to a fault. They know which canal the herons fish at four o'clock, and when to simply let the boat be quiet.
THE ROUTE
No two cruises trace the same line — your captain reads the light and the water. These are the stretches every route is drawn from.

THE NIGHT ANCHORAGE
A DAY ABOARD
Every boat is at anchor by nightfall — it’s the rule of the backwaters. Watch the day turn as you scroll through it.
12:00
Board & welcome
Check in at Punnamada jetty. A tender-coconut welcome, cool towels, and a walk-through of your boat and crew before you cast off.
13:30
Lunch on the water
A Kerala lunch served as you cruise — karimeen fish, avial, thoran and rice on a banana leaf. Veg, Jain, halal and vegan menus on request.
16:00
Village walk & canoe
The boat noses into the narrow canals. Step off for a coir-and-toddy village walk, or take a country canoe where the houseboat can't follow.
17:00
Evening tea
Chai and hot snacks — banana fritters, bonda — on the sundeck as the light turns gold.
17:30
BY REGULATIONAnchor for sunset
By backwater regulation every boat anchors before dusk. The engine stills and the water mirrors the sky — the quietest hour of the trip.
20:00
Dinner under lanterns
A multi-course dinner cooked fresh by your chef, served on deck under lantern light. Bring your own bottle — no corkage.
08:00
Sunrise & breakfast
Wake to mist on the water. Appam and stew, puttu, fresh fruit and filter coffee on the sundeck as the boat gets underway.
09:00
Ashore, unhurried
Cruise back to the jetty and disembark by nine — or extend on toward Kumarakom and the bird sanctuary.
Twenty-one hours on the water, and not one of them hurried.
Overnight cruises board at 12:00 noon and come ashore at 09:00 — every meal cooked aboard
